What is Quizbowl?
Quiz bowl is a competitive academic activity in which teams of students compete to answer questions about various topics, including general knowledge, history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, and more. It is typically played with two teams, each consisting of several players. A moderator asks questions, and the teams try to buzz in and answer correctly to earn points for their team.
How Does it Work?
In quizbowl matches, a moderator reads questions to the competing teams. Team members compete to buzz in first and correctly answer the questions. Points are awarded for correct answers, and there are often different rounds and formats used in competitions.
